SSC Notice Regarding CHSL 2017 Cheating and Steps Taken

Staff Selection Commission has issued a notice regarding SSC CHSL 2017 cheating and also mentioned the useful steps that should be taken to prevent this type of mischief. 
The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (Tier-I) Examination 2017 is being conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for 61,52,068 candidates across the country from 4.3.2018 to 28.3.2018. The Commission has taken all necessary steps, including elaborate security arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Central Industrial Security Force has been deployed at the sensitive venues to ensure thorough frisking of the candidates. Till 6.3.2018, 2,89,369 candidates have already taken the examination, which is being conducted peacefully without any untoward incident. 

2. The Commission was informed that in the morning Shift on 7.3.2018, at one venue namely R.S. Digital, Patna, a candidate was found indulging in unfair means with the assistance of a Test Administrator. The Commission has taken a serious view of the incident and has cancelled the candidature of the candidate with immediate effect and has also initiated criminal proceedings against the candidate and the Test Administrator. Furthermore, as an additional safeguard, all examination functionaries of the aforesaid venue are being changed w.e.f. 8.3.2018. 

3. In the overall context, the Commission has up-scaled its vigilance and security arrangements at all venues of the ongoing examination, with the support of the State/ UT Governments.
