IBPS Specialist Officer 2017 Out

IBPS has released notification for recruitment of Specialist Officers for the year 2017. Those candidates who are willing to sit for the examination please check the details of eligibility from the link given below.

Important points to remember:

• Online registration- 7th November 2017 to 27th November 2017
• Payment of application fee- 7th November 2017 to 27th November 2017
• Download of call letter (Preliminary)- December 2017
• Online Preliminary Exam- 30 and 31st December 2017
• Online Main Examination- 28th January 2017
• Interview- February
• Provisional Allotment- April 2018

Pattern of the Examination

The examination will be held on two slots- Preliminary and mains. The exam is also supposed to have sectional cut offs and a penalty of 0.25 is there for every wrong answer. 

Preliminary Examination

For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari the duration will be of 2 hours and the medium will be both hindi and english except for the section of english language. There will be total 150 questions of 125 marks.

• English Language-50 Questions- 25 Marks
• Reasoning-50 Questions-50 Marks
• General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry-50 Questions-50 Marks

For the Post of IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer the duration will be of 2 hours and the medium will be both hindi and english except for the section of english language. There will be total 150 questions of 125 marks.

• English Language-50 Questions- 25 Marks
• Reasoning-50 Questions-50 Marks
• Quantitative Aptitude-50 Questions-50 Marks

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

For the Post of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer

• Profession Knowledge-60 Questions-60 Marks-45 minutes

For the Post of Rajbhasha Adhikari

• Profession Knowledge (Objective)-45 Questions-60 Marks-30 minutes
• Profession Knowledge (Descriptive)-2 Questions-30 minute
