Explanation 1. India will host the Commonwealth (Youth, Junior and Senior) Weightlifting Championships 2019. The Executive Board of Commonwealth Weightlifting Federation has decided to allot the competitions in India for 2019.

Explanation 2. Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has become the Ambassador for Tourism Australia. She is the first Indian woman ambassador to encourage the people of India to visit Australia.

Explanation 3. BSNL is expected to start 5G network in India. According to the MD and CEO of BSNL Anupam Srivastava, it is expected that the trial for the 5G services would start by March 2018.

Explanation 4. N Baijendra Kumar is appointed as the CMD of NMDC(National Mineral Development Corporation). He is an IAS officer of Chattisgarh cadre.
