Solution
Production of company AVC in 2000 = 360 crore units.
Therefore, required% = [360/(985/3)] × 100 = 110%
2.It is obvious from the table as the production increased from 92 to 96 crore units.
3.For company TP, average production in the last three years = (107+110+132)/3 = 116.3 crore units
Average production in the first three years = (103+150+105)/3 = 119.3 crore units
Obviously, its average production in the last three years is less compared to the first three years.
4.The total production of the six companies in the last two years = 989 + 991 = 1980 crore units
The total production of the six companies in the first two years = 863 + 927 = 1790 crore units
Required% = (1790/1980) × 100 = 90.40%
5.The required difference = (91 - 90) crore units = 1 crore units
6.The production increased every year from that of the previous year for the companies: ZIR, PEN, SIO
7.Required ratio = (6.19 + 6.23) : (5.04 + 5.12) = 12.42 : 10.16 = 621 : 508
8.Required% increase = [(5.28 - 5.11)/5.11] × 100 = 3.33%
9.Shopkeeper S kept increasing his profit continuously.
10.Required difference in profit = Rs. (5.69 - 5.31) thousand = Rs.380
11.Required average profit = Rs. (4.99 + 5.82)/2 thousand = Rs.5405
