= 1/2(1/3 - 1/5 + 1/5 - 1/7 + 1/7 - 1/9 + 1/9 - 1/11 + 1/11 - 1/13)

= 1/2 (1/3 - 1/13)

= 5/39

or, 100 : 140 = D2 : 70

or, D2 = (100×70)/140 = 50
